ECG – examination

ECG is an important tool for the diagnosis of heart disease. It measures the electrical activity of the heart and can reveal abnormalities that indicate heart disease. An EKG is usually performed when heart disease is suspected or when heart disease is present. The examination is painless and takes only a few minutes. During the examination, several electrodes are connected to the body, which then record the electrical impulses of the heart.
